H&M - The Key Pieces Pencil Skirt
We love when H&M unveils higher end pieces, like EVERYTHING in their 'The Key Pieces' capsule collection, and this skirt in particular makes us dream of summer while still being practical this season. Made of jersey, it's stretchy, comfy and warm, especially when layered with other awesome pieces from the collection, like this moto jacket. The grey color is our absolute fave. $24.95 at H&M.
You know what would look awesome with that grey pencil skirt? Grey booties! These ones from Aldo are 100% leather and have just enough heel to be stylish while still letting you brace the elements. As long as the snow doesn't go up to your knees! $140 at Aldo.
Complete the look by throwing a boyfriend-inspired item into the mix, like this multi-tone denim shirt. The material and loose fit make sure things stay relaxed while the shadow breast pockets keep the edginess alive. This one screams 'efortless cool' and we want to rock it with all of our outfits for a week straight. $193 online and in CM stores.

Choose from over 45 shades that will last up to two weeks. $14.99 for nail polish + top coat at Target or your local drugstore.
Mark Ronson - Uptown Special
If we're being totally honest with ourselves, 'Uptown Funk' should be reason enough to check out super producer Mark Ronson's fourth album. Dedicated to his late friend, the uber talented Amy Winehouse, it features amazing collabos with Bruno Mars (duh!) and Stevie Wonder. $9.99 on iTunes.
The seventh studio album from The Decemberists, this 14-track, hour-long musical adventure gives fans exactly what they've been waiting for. The title comes from "12/17/12", a track that references the date on which Barack Obama delivered a speech in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. $9.99 on iTunes.
So, it's not a CD -- whatever. Everyone freaked out upon the release of his powerhouse collaboration (including us) and the song is catchy as all hell, so how could it not make this list? Warning: Once you hear it, you won't be able to stop listening. $1.29 on iTunes.
