The X-Files back with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson?

THE X-FILES ARE BACK! Ok not quite yet, but if we trust the rumors, the famous series could be two actors and a writer away from a revival! Say whattt! Fox Mulder and Dr. Dana Scully that we've watched investigate paranomal activities from 1993 to 2002, back in 2015 for more UFO Drama? #sweet

Fox might have a bit of a bad rep nowadays, but surely this news should help them put some 'cool points' back in the bank -should-.

Fox chairman Dana Walden addressed the rumor:

“It’s true that we’ve had some conversations on X-Files,” Newman said. “We’re hopeful of being able to bring that back at some point.” 

“We’ve maintained a good relationship with Chris, David and Gillian. We’re very hopeful, but it’s hard. The actors are very busy. They have a lot going on. Chris has a lot on his plate, so it’s just trying to carve out the time,” he said.

So if we read between the huge lines, we could be hopeful for a come back starring the original cast and of course the series' creator Chris Carter in a near future. Both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are said to be keen on giving it another go, which makes the project off to a great start.
