In case you're not totally up to date on the Sydney hostage situation, here's what happened: A gunman, identified by police as Man Haron Monis, took 17 people hostage inside the Lindt Cafe in Martin Place on Monday night (in Australia!).

After police raided the premises, it was confirmed that the gunman, as well as two hostages, a 34-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, were dead, reports Mashable. Four others, including a police officer, were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Believe it or not, people actually took the siege to be a great selfie opportunity and have been posing in front of the cafe, posting updates to social media that show them smiling and having a ball. WTF?! All of these folks obviously have no common sense or compassion, but that doesn't make any of these Tweets any easier to believe.

How does anyone think this is a good idea? HOOOOOOW?!

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
