Kim Kardashian's cover shoot for PAPER mag is doing exactly what it set out to do: Break the Internet. It's also getting a lot of hate from fellow celebs calling her out on the overly sexy photo. Lorde replied to Kim K's tweet with just one word: 'mom'. As for Naya Rivera, she commented on Kim's Instagram post, writing, "I normally don't. But…you're someone's mother…". Is it really their place to judge? Probably not.
Spotify responds to Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift made headlines last week when she abruptly pulled all of her music from Spotify, saying, "I'm not willing to contribute my life's work to an experiment that I don't feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists, and creators of this music. And I just don't agree with perpetuating the perception that music has no value and should be free."
Well, Spotify is finally firing back and CEO Daniel Ek is quoted by Rolling Stone as saying, "Taylor Swift is absolutely right: music is art, art has real value and artists deserve to be paid for it...we've already paid more than $2 billion in royalties to the music industry... We will do anything we can to work with the industry to increase transparency, improve speed of payments, and give artists the opportunity to promote themselves and connect with fans – that's our responsibility as a leader in this industry; and it's the right thing to do." Hmmm, who do you side with?
The Osbournes are coming back to MTV
Sharon Osbourne has announced that the Emmy-winning MTV reality series documenting her family, The Osbournes, is coming back. The show originally ran for four seasons from 2002 to 2005 and, as per Ozzy's idea, will be back with eight new episodes next year so we can get a follow-up on his and Sharon's lives, as well as Kelly and Jack's. If it wasn't for their show, we probs wouldn't have spinoffs like Keeping Up With The Kardashians... think about that.
