Miley Cyrus and Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne get matching tattoos... of her dead dog

Miley Cyrus added a new tattoo to her collection over the weekend and somehow managed to convince Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne and his girlfriend that it would be a great idea if they all got matching ink. 

Done during a house party, the tattoo design showcases – wait for it – Miley’s adorable Alaskan klee kai Floyd who passed away in April while she was on tour. (Anyone who's seen the emotional video of Miley breaking down on stage following the news knows how important the pooch was to her!) 

"Yep!!! Family Floyd Tat!!! I Get By With A Little Help From My Fwends!!!" wrote Coyne on Instagram, posting this pic of the happy trio showing off their brand new work:

OK, so it's totally freakin' adorbs and we understand why Miley would want it on her body forever, but the other two are still a bit of a mystery to us... BFFs for life, right?
