When students from Texas' Austin Vandegrift high school flooded a soccer field after winning their first ever championship this past weekend - they played against Wylie Eas in the 4A girls state championship - they certainly weren't expecting to be tripped or pushed by a police officer. By the opposing team's fans maybe, but certainly not by a cop in uniform.

But that's exactly what happened and unfortunately for the Georgetown police officer who exhibited terrible behavior and didn't exactly use great judgment, his actions were captured on film for the world to see.

Police Chief Wayne Nero told KXAN that “after personally watching the videos, the actions of my officer are very concerning to me as well" and Officer George Bermudez has since been placed "on paid administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation into his actions".
