According to Metro UK, more than 100,000 children have been killed and about 2.3 million have been left without homes due to the civil war in Syria, which began in 2011 and will reach the three year mark in a week.
Speaking to Metro, Save the Children UK's director of brand and communications, Jake Lundie, said: “We hope the video will resonate with members of the public who don’t know much about the situation in Syria so they can really understand the plight of innocent Syrian children. The message to the public is just because it’s not happening here, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.”
