Acting
British-Australian actress and film producer Naomi Ellen Watts had her big screen debut in 1986’s For Love Alone. After several more movies and a role on TV series Hey Dad..!, she eventually moved to America. Her big break came when she landed a role in David Lynch's 2001 psychological thriller Mulholland Drive. This was followed by performances in The Ring, 21 Grams, I Heart Huckabees, King Kong and a slew of other blockbuster hits. Her most recent film, Sunlight Jr., was released this week.
 
American actress and singer Evan Rachael Wood got her start in the ‘90s when she appeared on TV's American Gothic and Once and Again. Her first movie role came at the age of nine when she starred in 1998’s Digging in China and she has since gone on to be a part of successful independent and mainstream films, like Running with Scissors, Across the Universe, The Wrestler and The Ides of March. From 2009-2011 she could be found back on the small screen, playing Queen Sophie-Anne on True Blood. Her newest movie, Charlie Countryman, is out now. Point: Wood
 
Awards
Watts’ first major recognition came in the form of an Academy Award nomination and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for her role in Alejandro González Iñárritu's 2003 movie 21 Grams. She then received a second Oscar nod, Golden Globe Award for Best Actress nomination and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for 2012’s The Impossible.
 
Wood got her first major award nomination in 2003 when she scored a Golden Globe nom for her part in teen drama Thirteen. In 2011, she was nominated for the Golden Globe and Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Kate Winslet's daughter in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce. The Guardian has dubbed Wood "one of the best actresses of her generation.” Point: Watts
 
Personal
Since 2006, Watts has volunteered as a goodwill ambassador for Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, an initiative that helps raise awareness for AIDS-related issues. She made People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list in 2002 and since 2005, she has been in a relationship with actor Liev Schreiber.
 
Wood’s relationship with Marilyn Manson, to whom she was engaged, brought her a lot of media attention, but it wasn't meant to be and in 2012, Wood married English actor Jamie Bell. In August 2012, she identified herself as bisexual on Twitter. Point: Watts
