Bruno Mars - Gorilla
If you’ve heard Bruno Mars’ latest single before, then you know what’s coming. If you haven't, then let us tell you the song is all about getting’ freaky, so it only makes sense that the video sees Bruno and his band taking on the roles of strip club performers. In a classy way, of course. Complete with Spanish language intro, the whole thing makes you feel like you've just stumbled into a hot, sweaty club in Havana and, well, if we walked into a strip club and found this sexy man singing, we’d never leave. You know, hypothetically speaking.
Avril Lavigne feat. Chad Kroeger - Let Me Go
Well what d’ya know? Avril can actually sing! And so can Chad! And they’re really good influences on one another (good call getting married, guys!) because Avril’s latest music video is sleek, classy and a pleasure to watch. Unlike her last release, which we’re just going to pretend never happened. No gimmicks here, just a sophisticated version of Avril and a cool video with a story – girl finally got it right!
Fall Out Boy feat. Foxes - Just One Yesterday (Part 6 of 11)
And so the story continues. And boy are we glad it does. A dark, twisted fairytale complete with poisoned apples and hooks instead of hands, Fall Out Boy’s latest video keeps up with the theatricality of the previous releases in the series and reels us in even further. Oh yeah, there’s also a lot of blood and a suspense-filled ending – perfect.
Shaggy feat. Ne-Yo - You Girl
Yup, he’s still around and yup, we’re just as surprised as you are. Only thing more surprising is the lack of nudity and bling. Instead, this video is like a snapshot of island life, which reflects the song’s vibe gloriously. The gratuitous ass shots at the end almost ruined it but meh, we're feeling generous, so we’ll let it slide this time.
2 Chainz - Used 2
Holy. Crap. There was so much potential here based on location alone, but instead, 2 Chainz gifted us with this. And twerking? Really? That’s so last week.
