Forget Wolverine, Hugh Jackman’s real-life role is that of all-around sweetheart.

After spending his summer in Montreal, reprising his role as Wolverine during the filming of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, it seems the Australian actor just couldn’t leave La Belle Province without doing one more thing that would make the city (and all his fans) fall in love with him even more.

Earlier this week, Hugh and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness tried to make an online donation to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, but following some technical issues – the system kept assuming the couple wanted to give $10 - Deborra-Lee actually called up the hospital.

Making the donation on behalf of herself, Hugh and the cast and crew of X-Men, she explained that it wasn’t just $10 they wanted to give – not even close – it was $10,000.

Freakin’ eh, how sweet is that?! Guess big-hearted people do still exist in Hollywood.

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
