Just six months ago, sources claimed that Rihanna was reportedly over talking about the whole Chris Brown beating incident. But, today, the singer is hitting the headlines (again!) with a new tell-all tale inside the pages of the new Rolling Stone magazine, which is due out January 31, 2013.
The Barbadian beauty has confirmed (without the use of Instagram) that she and Brown are back together and swears she knows what sheâs gotten herself into. She told writer Josh Ells that âEven if itâs a mistake, itâs my mistake.â

She told the mag, âI decided it was more important for me to be happy.
âI wasnât going to let anybodyâs opinion get in the way of that. Even if itâs a mistake, itâs my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, Iâd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.â
Apparently, despite the fact that itâs been a mere four years since that infamous night, Rihanna says that things have changed and that just because they share all of their moments on Instagram, things arenât really what they seem (so, they donât smoke weed in bed and take naughty pictures?) She told the mag, âWhen you add up the pieces from the outside, itâs not the cutest puzzle in the world,â she said. âYou see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But itâs different now. We donât have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we donât want to lose that.â

She may not want to lose that, but the singer said that sheâs willing to walk if Brown ever tries anything again. Rihanna told Rolling Stone mag, âHe doesnât have the luxury of fucking up again,â she said. âThatâs just not an option. I canât say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But Iâm pretty solid in the knowing that heâs disgusted by that. And I wouldnât have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.â
Just a few months ago, the songstress sat down with Oprah to give another candid interview â about the same subject â yet again. She told the queen of daytime TV, âI lost my best friend â everything I knew switched â switched in a night and I couldnât control that ⦠itâs not easy for me to interpret â itâs not easy to interpret on camera with the world watching.â
In the words of Oprah, âIf a man hits you once, he will hit you again!â
