The stars of Gossip Girl may have spent too much time playing entitled brats, as witnesses as New York City's Philippe restaurant say some of the cast brought that attitude to their real life on Tuesday night.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Leighton Meester, Ed Westick and a group of pals made a scene while they were dining, talking and swearing loudly and bothering other customers. Page Six's spy said Meester didn't react well when another costumer politely asked her to lower her voice.
"F**k you!" Meester reportedly shouted. "How dare you tell us to keep it down?"
But, as it should be, Ed "Chuck Bass" Westwick soon came to the rescue, apologizing to the other table.
"We should all be happy. Let's hug it out, guys," said Westwick, who reportedly made good on his promise to wrap them in his warm, loving arms. (Yes, we're a little jealous.)
Perhaps the CW stars were feeling cranky because of their constricting on-set costumes, as Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Damon revealed this week that the actresses are often squeezed into some body-hugging Spanx.
"If you put on a couple of pounds, then great, buy some Spanx," Damon told Us Weekly. "They don't [lose weight]. They just get some good underwear and they're fine."
If Page Six's report turns out to be true, maybe Damon is making those Spanx just a little too tight.
